Call for Papers
The next issue of ISAA Review, planned for December 2011, will be based around the idea of TRANSLATION: from its literal, and commonly understood sense as the rendering of something written or spoken in one language in words of a different language with a meaning equivalent to that of the original; to a change in form or state; or transference to a different time, place or sphere. It is to be hoped that this theme will reach out, not only to the study of language, history and the social sciences but also to the physical sciences.
Papers should be between 3,000 and 6,000 words.
The ISAA Review will also include:
- An Open Section for essays (refereed, 3,000-6,000 words)
- An 'Opinion' page where members can have their say on matters of contemporary scholarly concern (non-refereed, 500-1,500 words)
- A Book Review section. Please notify the Book Review Editor Elspeth Browne: ElspethBrowne2@bigpond.com if you have a new publication or a proposal for a review of a book of interest
Deadline for Contributions: Early October 2011
